Daddy Nose Best

One of Dean's favorite things to play with is Mark's nose.
He grabs is, "kisses" it, bonks his head on it.
It's just so out there and big, i guess he knows it'll fit perfect in his hands.
But really Mark's face is so cute that why wouldn't he want to admire it.
Maybe Dean will have the same nose someday and his kid will do the same.
I say let babies play with whatever toy they want so long as it's safe and puts a smile on their face.
And look at that face.

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Oh my goodness!
The Museum of Curiosity is A-MAZE-ING!
The boys loved it.
I loved it.
I wish I was a kid again so that I could play there with Scott and Dean.
They had an awesome water table with baby chairs inside the table so they could be safe and surrounded by awesomeness.
He loved that the most.

Scott was able to touch and feel and play with everything around him.
Sand, water, chopped up rubber, legos.
Pretending to be a vet, a pilot, a banker, Noah.
The things for your child to discover are endless there.
We loved every moment of it.
We are so glad the Grandma Karen has a pass for us to go play.
After wards the boys crashed before we got onto the freeway.

Bear Lake 2014

We had the best time in Bear Lake with our Ellis family.
We stayed in a nice little condo that fit us all and gave us this beautiful view.
A lake and mountains, it doesn't get much better then this.

We also went to North Beach this time.
It is THE BEST beach in all of Utah I think.
Great sand for sand castles, an incredibly long shore that made it so I didn't have to worry about Scott.
He didn't even want his floaties and practiced swimming with his head under the water too.

This kid never wanted to come out of the water.
Even when he had to pee he stayed in the water.
Mind you he came up to ankle deep water and pulled his shorts down all the way and exposed himself to the whole beach.
I know it's gross but I'd rather have my kid go waist deep and just go in the water then doing what he did.
Knowing that he would hold it in forever if I told him to come out to pee I tried to teach him to do this but I guess the pulling of the shorts down is too deeply ingrained.
That kid is a nut.

Dean had a great time and did so good with napping while we were playing.
He really tries so hard to be a big kid.
Scott loves to include him in everything so maybe that's where he gets it from.

We had so much fun with the Ellises.
It's becoming my favorite spot to vacation with family.
Hopefully we can come back soon.

The McEvoy Clan

I love my family.
I love when we are all home together.
And I love taking pictures with no one missing.
I don't love that my son thought this was the perfect time to through a fit.
He seems to get over whelmed when asked to perform.
Except for Mrs Erin.
He did awesome with her.
I guess we'll just have to keep pay the big bucks for her to do it.
Oh well, we got some fun pictures instead of posing pics, which are our favorite anyway.
Here's some of my favorites.
We sure are a good looking bunch.

Me Time

It has been hard to find "me time" with two boys.
And if I do I usually just want to rest.
But today something amazing happened.
Nap time, Quiet time, and Motivation all collided along with having all the supplies needed to finish.
I bought the frame a year ago from Ikea and then the fabric a few months after that.
When I started it once I realized that I didn't have enough fabric so I went out and got what I needed and there ended the motivation that time.
So today I set out to do it.
I found out that I didn't need the extra fabric that I bought.
But oh well, I didn't let myself dwell on that or else I would have let the negativity drain my motivation.
It was extremely easy after I figured out my plans.
Oh how I love to create.
Now I want to make one for every room.

Ensign Peak

It was a super windy night with chances of rain.
But us girls, we're tough.
We don't let things like that stop us from accomplishing our goals.
We hiked up Ensign Peak in the dark.
Holy cow it's steep.
But it's super short too so totally worth it.
The Laurals were in charge and had organized a sweet little message once we got to the top.
It was all in preparation for camp.
I seriously can't wait to go with my girls.
Most the time I feel like one of them instead of a leader.
Maybe cause I'm so immature.
But also because these leaders teach me so much.
At this time in my life I know I would be lost without them.
Thank you young women and leaders for building my testimony and for helping to bare my burdens.
They don't know they are helping me but every day they save me.
That's how it was while hiking.
They only spoke encouragement to one another.
They played around and distracted one another from realizing how hard it was.
Sometimes the simplest things help us on our journeys in life.

Independence Day 2014

I wish I could have gotten a better picture but he wouldn't stay still.
The fire works charged him up.
We went over to Oquirh Mountain Temple hill to watch fire works and it was amazing.
We got to over look the entire valleys firework shows.
The big ones, the small ones, the ones from the neighbors, the ones from across the city.
Scott was going nuts.
I don't think I have ever seen him so excited.
But afterwards he crashed.
The fourth of July is so much better watching it with kids.
Happy Independence day ya'll.

And the Grammy Goes To...

When Scott was a baby I made up a song for him.

I love Scott, yes I do.

I love Scott cause he's so cute.

I still sing it to him from time to time. Well today while singing it to him he sang me a song.

I love Caroline cause she's so beautiful,
I love Caroline cause she's so beautiful. I love Caroline.
Yep, that's my boy.
